Carbon steel
carbon steel is the most important group of engineering alloys and a large portion of the boilers / furnaces/ chimney produced today is plain carbon steel. They account for the vast majority of steel applications depending on the processes and needs. Civilization and modern urbanization are greatly dependent on steel without a doubt. A wide range of application as well as its abundance in nature has given it a dominance over other materials. Today it is used in every sector of our lives and been subjected to constant modification for able to be used in advanced applications in near future.
Mild Steel
Mechon Mild steel is a type of carbon steel with a low amount of carbon – it is actually also known as “low carbon steel.” Although ranges vary depending on the source, the amount of carbon typically found in mild steel is 0.05% to 0.25% by weight, whereas higher carbon steels are typically described as having a carbon content from 0.30% to 2.0%. If any more carbon than that is added, the steel would be classified as cast iron.
Mild steel is not an alloy steel and therefore does not contain large amounts of other elements besides iron; you will not find vast amounts of chromium, molybdenum, or other alloying elements in mild steel. Since its carbon and alloying element content are relatively low, there are several properties it has that differentiate it from higher carbon and alloy steels.
Stainless Steel
Mechon Stainless steel is a corrosion-resistant alloy of iron, chromium and, in some cases, nickel and other metals.
Completely and infinitely recyclable, stainless steel is the “green material” par excellence. In fact, within the construction sector, its actual recovery rate is close to 100%. Stainless steel is also environmentally neutral and inert, and its longevity ensures it meets the needs of sustainable construction. Furthermore, it does not leach compounds that could modify its composition when in contact with elements like water.
In addition to these environmental benefits, stainless steel is also aesthetically appealing, extremely hygienic, easy to maintain, highly durable and offers a wide variety of aspects. As a result, stainless steel can be found in many everyday objects. It also plays a prominent role in an array of industries, including energy, transportation, building, research, medicine, food and logistics.

Fixed type biogas plant
MECHON fixed-dome BIOGAS plant comprises of a closed, dome-shaped digester with an immovable, rigid gas-holder and a displacement pit, also named ‘compensation tank’. The gas is stored in the upper part of the digester. When gas production commences, the slurry is displaced into the compensating tank.
Gas pressure increases with the volume of gas stored, i.e. with the height difference between the two slurry levels. If there is little gas in the gas-holder, the gas pressure is low.
Portable Type biogas plant
MECHON Portable biogas plants are built using FRP( Fiber reinforced plastic) and it can be fixed in a small area. Usually water jacket models are most efficient among different designs. Here portable biogas plants having two portions ,one is the digester where biomethenization process occurs and another portion where biogas is stored. Both the portions are saperated using water jacket , which is also acting as safety relief when excess gas is produced.
